What's new in the game?

Online update

You read it well, this is a first for the NES: you can now update your game cartridge online!

By doing so, you will get the latest version of the game which contains a new playable character: Sunny from Super Sunny World!

Story mode

Secret medals times have been updated to reflect current world records for humans and tool assisted speedruns.

Kiki

Kiki can now paint a parachute

Kiki now uses her brush to paint a parachute and slowdown her fall. The parachute can be deployed and removed at will, giving Kiki way more freedom in the air than before. This new tool adds a lot of options for varying Kiki's recovery as well has tricking the opponent into bad moves by changing her fall speed at will.

Along with that, Kiki's walljump now goes higher. Combined with the parachute, it gives the possibility to fall back on platform after a walljump.

Sunny

Sunny comes to game for the first time. Give her a warm welcome!

True to her original game, Super Sunny World inspired by Super Mario Bros, she got a moveset inspired by Mario from Super Smash Bros. It results in a combo-centric character with good overall gameplay. Strong at close range, she also has a projectile to be able to poke at a distance. Sunny really shines in the air were her options far outclass other characters.

Of course, balance is hard with new characters. We count on you to play her and give your feedback. So the next update will be even better!

Fixes

Story mode no more awards you speedrun medals when you take over 19 minutes to complete the game.
